The Entrepreneurship Cell, International Management Institute, New Delhi, provides first ever national platform for entrepreneurs during Kritva 2016, ‘Pitch Please’. Today everyone wants to be his own boss. But lack of proper support and knowledge are the limiting factors and unfortunately many ideas never see the light of day and simply remain as ideas. The Entrepreneurship Club wants to be the bridge between these ideas and their realization. The event is aimed to help those who have a prospective business idea in mind and need a platform to showcase it to the world. The event is open to the student fraternity and students from other colleges as well.
This year Pitch Please received more than 100 entries from top reputed B-Schools and is an immense success. The event saw pan- India participation from top B-Schools such as IIM -L, IIFT, NMIMS, XIMB, KJSIMSR etc. The esteemed judge for the event was Mr. Vaibhav Srivastava, ex-CTO, Ruplee and Ms. Kanika Tekriwal, Founder, JetSetGo.
The competition was intense as each team had put their best foot forward and came up with innovative ideas. The judge had a tough time deciding the winner. The judgment was given considering the depth of analysis, innovation, originality and feasibility of the B-Plan.
Team NIMORI from IIT Delhi was declared as the winner of “Pitch Please”. The runners up were Team NIRVANA CORP from IMT, Ghaziabad. The success of the event can be gauged by the fact that the winners have received seed funding for their startups.
