The Hult Prize Foundation is a start-up accelerator for budding young social entrepreneurs emerging from the world’s top universities. Named as one of the top five ideas changing the world by President Bill Clinton and TIME Magazine, the annual competition for the Hult Prize aims to create and launch the most compelling social business ideas—start-up enterprises that tackle grave issues faced by billions of people.
Winners receive USD 1 Million in seed capital, as well as mentorship and advice from the international business community.
The 2017 Challenge was ‘REAWAKENING HUMAN POTENTIAL’ by building sustainable, scalable start-up enterprises that will restore the rights and dignity of 10million people by 2022.
The students from IMI New Delhi had joined the world’s largest movement for social impact, Hult Prize, which was conducted by Clinton Global Initiative every year. One of the IMI teams, ‘Team Visionaries’, was selected for the 8th Annual Hult Prize Regional Final – Boston (USA) held on 4th March 2017.
This team had been selected by Global Hult Prize Foundation from a record breaking pool of over 50,000+ applications received from over 100 countries.
