E-TNT is the marquee event of the Entrepreneurship Cell, IMI New Delhi. This is the event that gives students an opportunity to test the mettle of Entrepreneurship inside them. Students bid for stalls and operate these stalls on the event night to earn profits. E-TNT’19 kept alive the legacy of E-Cell this time around too. Themed as E-TNT Haat, the event saw eight participating teams offering the best delicacies, games and other offerings to the entire IMI fraternity.

            This year a total of 28 teams participated in the bidding round wherein the highest bid for a stall went up as much as Rs.10,000/-. It was a cut throat round of bidding and no team wanted to surrender even an inch to the others. But only the top eight bidders got a chance to offer their products. The hype after this round was immense and one couldn’t quite wait to witness, as to what would unfold on the final day of the event.

            It was the 17th day of January, 2019, when all the eight teams set foot on the amphitheatre with their entire product range. The amphitheatre area loaded with beautiful décor including the adornment at the college gate and the photo-booth seemed to set up a perfect stage for the winter carnival to get underway. DJ and music added to the frenzy and as the songs started rolling, people from the entire IMI community started flowing in. They enjoyed all sorts of food, beverages and sweet dishes available at the campus that day. Biriyani, Rolls, Chaats, Pizzas, Tikkas, Dosa, Idli, Chocolate shots, Brownies, you name it and they were there. Food was not the only thing on offer that day. Students came up with innovative games like remote car race, darts, and foosball etc. to catch the attention of the crowd and keep them engaged and winning. Even on demand Polaroid pictures and posters were on offer and this alone couldn’t restrict people taking snaps and uploading it on various social media platforms.


            Everything was a hit in this event and the Entrepreneurship Cell members were proud to host such an event at a grand scale. Total sales were high and most of the teams did well to break even and go on to earn profits. Apart from the profits earned by the different teams, cash prizes worth R. 22,000 were also awarded to top four performing teams based on certain criteria and parameters. Titles like the best innovative offerings, the best promotions, the best execution and the jack of all trades were handed out to the teams in front of the gathering.


            Four hours of fun, frenzy and entertainment, with the crowd dancing to the tunes of latest Bollywood remixes and party numbers. This summed up E-TNT for the year 2019. In all totality, it was a night that can never be described by mere words. It was a fun filled night with music, glamour and light.
